Not Afraid to Rave About Fast Food

Fast food gets a pretty bad rap in this country and around the world where it's blamed for everything from obesity to global warming. But I'm not afraid to rave about fast food, when appropriate. Yes, the Double R Bar Burger -- as I wrote recently -- still rules and even the gargantuan Texas Double Whopper from Burger King has its place in our society. Namely, when you're starving at 2 PM after spending the day weeding and mulching. I don't advocate eating fast food daily or even frequently, but sometimes it's what you've got time for.

So, it was good to read Pam Bilger's piece in the Charlotte Observer about a fast food place called Zaxby's which sounds like it serves a mean plate of fresh chicken fingers.
