THG Does the MD Film Fest

No, The Hungover Gourmet has not disappeared. Frankly, the last month has been – what's the word? – chaotic. As some of you may know, we're expecting a bouncing baby girl in about a month and that has meant doing a ton of work to, in and around the house. Most notably, moving my office out of its current location, into the living room while rooms were painted, carpeted, etc. and then moving everything into a new location with new furniture.

In the words of the great Phil Hartman, "Good times, good times."

The worst of the moving and renovating appears to be over so I should be popping in with more regularity in the week's leading up to Baby THG's arrival. I've got plenty to report on, including a new favorite cheap white wine, some restaurant reviews, and more.

In the meantime, though, I'm pleased to announce that THG is teaming up with Baltimore's Atomic Books and The Maryland Film Festival. I will be at the Film Fest Tent Village this Friday, May 4 from 6 PM to 7 PM. Stop by and say hi, chat about flicks and food (two of my favorite things), and I'll even be signing issues if, for any reason, that appeals to you.

For more details and to check out other publishers and authors that will be appearing (including Mike White of Cashiers du Cinemart, THG contributors Davida Breier and Patrick Tandy, and Dom Salemi of Brutarian) visit the Atomic Books website.
