Underrated KITCHEN CONFIDENTIAL Comes to DVD

Say what you will about the advent of TV shows being released on DVD (really, Hardcastle & McCormick?), but I do like the fact that shows that get pulled before their time can find new life on the format.

Case in point, Kitchen Confidential, an underrated workplace comedy based on the book of the same name by Anthony Bourdain. In the show, chef Jack Bourdain is played by Bradley Cooper (the asshole fiance from THE WEDDING CRASHERS) and the show centers around the former hotshot chef trying to regain his fame.

Described as "Sex in the City in the kitchen" the show only aired for five or six weeks before being pulled from FOX's scary good lineup. (Remember, this is the network that once aired Herman's Head for 71 episdoes.)

The new DVD contains all 13 episodes of the series, including those unaired by FOX.
