14 Cups of Espresso is Apparently Bad for You

A 17 year old British girl who was helping out in her father's sandwich shop overdosed on caffeine after drinking 14 cups of espresso.

My big question is, what's with all the mentions of instant coffee? Do Brits really drink instant coffee?
