Who Wins When Economy Falters?

According to financial figures released by McDonald's, the nation's economic woes didn't hurt their bottom line. If anything, the quest for value helped the fast food giant. McDonald's reports that same store sales jumped 8.2 percent in October, which comes on the heels of a 7.1 percent jump last quarter.

Just goes to show ya. The poor are rarely effected by "economic" downturns. Walmart's fine, McDeez is fine. I'm not affected either yet. It's the poor rich people who are hogging up all the headlines.
