Beer Advocate Rates Top 50 Beer Joints in USA

In celebration of American Craft Beer Week (which was actually last week) the folks at Beer Advocate have put out their list of the Top 50 Places to Have a Beer in America. Neither 'My Patio' nor any of the places I love are on the list, but that's cool. Is your favorite haunt here???"

Been to Monk's and Ludwig's here in Philadelphia. Neither of them really impressed me much. Monk's was terribly snotty and pretentious and were actually out of two of the beers on their weekly menu. Ludwig's is heavy heavy on the German, down to costumes for the staff. I kinda felt like annexing Poland after being there. And it smelled of kraut. More worthy - and much more friendly - places in Philly: Eulogy, Nodding Head, and the Khyber (surprisingly good craft beer selection). The Blind Pig in Champaign IL must be the new, re-opened Pig, after my time there.
