It's always nice to see some local exposure given to the Baltimore area's large -- and supportive -- zine community. Today's edition of The Baltimore Examiner features an article about SMILE, HON, YOU'RE IN BALTIMORE!, edited by THG contributor WP Tandy. Yours truly even gets a quote in the article...

Dan Taylor, the editor of another Baltimore zine called Hungover Gourmet, has been a longtime contributor to Smile. "I think Baltimore is one of those towns that has a unique personality -- it has a small town feel, yet is a big city," he said. "There are these kind of quirky pockets and interesting stories, and I think that's a lot of the appeal of the zine."
