I've heard of strict laws but this one certainly opened my eyes. Zheng Xiaoyu, former head of China's Food & Drug Administration from 1998 to 2005, was sentenced to death this week after pleading guilty to corruption and accepting bribes worth around $800,000 during his tenure.
