Researchers have discovered that coffee drinkers who are in good health need not fear the blood pressure raising effects of their favorite morning beverage. A study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition reports that healthy women who drank as much as six cups of coffee per day were no more likely than abstainers to develop high blood pressure over the next ten years. For men, the blood pressure risk neither increased nor decreased regardless of the amount of coffee they drank each day.
