Regular readers of THG know that my presence on these pages in the winter months can be "sporadic" at best. Turns out that this year was no different, despite a concerted effort to find a better balance between life and work.
In the end, the big, annual catalog project won out and I spent most of the last six weeks doing layout, editing photos, proofing prices, massaging spreadsheets and going blind pre-pressing the finished product.
The good news is that final proofs have been posted and aside from a few trips to the printer to look at printouts my schedule is now full of smaller, more manageable projects that should allow more time for all things food and drink.
We shall resume our regularly scheduled programming shortly!
