Trust Me, You Can Taste the Difference

If anybody tries to tell you that there's no difference between $7.99/lb. roast beef and $12.99/lb. roast beef, trust me, they're lying.

Here Here! If you want good food, your gonna have to go for the good stuff, and heaven forbid it costs you a few more bucks.

Yep, I usually pick up roast beef when I'm at Wegmans but didn't feel like making the drive up there.

Absolutely. I usually shop at Publix supermarkets and they offer a choice between the store brand and Boar's Head. As you point out, even though it often costs as much as 5 dollars more, I always stick with good ol' Razorback. It's twice as moist, flavorful and RARE than the in-house stuff.

The brand Wegmans sells also has the great name of Snake River Farms, so I'm always reminded of Evel Knieval when I buy it. And you're right, the good stuff is usually wonderfully rare, unlike the frequently overcooked store brand.
